Meet Our Team

Megan Mahoney - Owner

Hello! My name is Megan and I am the proud owner of The Colorado Paws Pack. I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and thrive on building long-lasting, trusting relationships with each pet I encounter. I pride myself on gaining an animals trust and working with pets who are shy, nervous, and reactive. Building these bonds is truly rewarding. Growing up, my household was constantly filled large breed dogs who went through extensive obedience training. It has always been my responsibility to make sure they were keeping up with daily repetitive commands along with more complicated obedience tasks. I currently have a Golden Retriever named Genevieve, a Lab/Cattle Dog mix named Eleanor, and 2 cats, Bear and Toby. I spend as much time as I can outside hiking and exploring! I am very passionate about ensuring proper exercise and safe interactions both with people and other animals. I feel our team will be the perfect fit as reliable, honorable, and trustworthy companions for your furry friends!

Matthew Montoya - Owner

My love of animals started when I was just four years old and I won a goldfish at the Puyallup State Fair. When my family moved later that year from Washington to Arizona, he made the journey in my lap in a giant pickle jar. Soon my family would add another goldfish, one gray cat named Cindy, and several small rodents to the menagerie. Since those early days, I have had the joy of having a variety of cats, dogs, and other smaller animals to care for and share a home with. I am fond of all animals but I do especially enjoy dogs. I have had three in my life and currently have a Golden Retriever and two Maine Coon cats. I have years of experience with animals and I will care and look after your furry babies as if they were my own.

Lindsey Sandillo - Dog Walker / Pet Sitter

Hi, I’m Lindsey! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for pets is something that comes naturally to me. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for like they are part of the family. I’m currently a CSR at a vet hospital, I also hold a Veterinary Assistant Certificate with years of hands-on animal care experience. Before moving to CO, I spent years in South Carolina rescuing over 200 cats (and a couple of lucky dogs along the way!). Those experiences taught me how to care for animals with all different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. My veterinary background also helps me notice the little things. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and cautious, or needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m comfortable meeting them where they are. When I’m not caring for other people’s pets, I’m usually spending time outdoors with my boyfriend, Greg, enjoying horseback riding, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, and other adventures. At home I’m kept company by my two senior kitties, Kali and Bella, and my yellow-bellied slider, Squirt. My goal is to give every client peace of mind and make sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
